Cog Threads

COG thread: Cog thread has barbs that can grab the subcutaneous tissue to achieve a stronger lifting. COG threads are generally considered a relatively safe cosmetic lifting technique. These are reason: it has a shorter operation time, fewer side effects and a shorter recovery period compared to facelifts. Since the skin is puntured with barbed lifting thread and penetrates most areas of the face, skin damage, bruising or asymmetry may occur. Other possible risks include the risk of thread migration, thread visibility, tingling and infection. However, most of these risks can be reduced after two weeks.

Swelling and bruising: Because the needle punctures the skin and damages the underlying tissue, local swelling and bruising may occur in the area within a few days after the procedure.
